Job summary

Fussy Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to own financial operations end-to-end and partner with the Financial Controller to build scalable finance processes. In a fast-growing scale-up, you will manage month-end, VAT, expenses and drive automation to reduce manual work while maintaining rigorous controls.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, month-end experience, and a proactive mindset toward process improvement in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals; qualification or hands-on equivalent.
• Proven month-end close experience: journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations.
• Understanding end-to-end accounts payable process.
• Attention to detail; ability to checkWork and spot inconsistencies.
• Open to automation and improving processes for scale.

Responsibilities

• Own financial operations end-to-end, ensure accuracy and control.
• Run accounts payable: supplier queries, payments, reconciliations.
• Manage expenses and VAT: card/employee claims, VAT returns, coding.
• Lead month-end: journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations; support close.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work and scale finance.
• Maintain clear process docs and controls; support audit/year-end requests.
