Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd seeks a Scaffolding Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) based in Manchester for centre-based delivery. Salary: £43,000–£47,000, full-time, permanent. You will develop teaching skills while delivering both theory and practical Scaffolding training to Apprentices.

The role requires solid Scaffolding experience, a Level 2 qualification, and a proactive, communicative teaching style. A driving licence and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid occupational experience in Scaffolding.
• Level 2 Scaffolding qualification or above.
• Experience training/coaching others in-house is desirable.
• Confident teaching in classroom/workshop settings.
• Good IT skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions to Apprentices working toward Level 2 Scaffolding.
• Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
• Support learners to ensure they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.

Essential Criteria

• Must hold solid occupational experience in the field of Scaffolding.
• Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification, or above, within Scaffolding.
• Experience of training / coaching / mentoring others in house ‘on the job’ is highly desirable.
• Confident with delivering / teaching within a classroom / workshop setting
• Good level of I.T skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Excellent presentationandcommunication skills

Duties

• Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions to Apprentices in a group/classroom setting, who are working towards their Level 2 Scaffolding.
• Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme, ensuring learners are progressing within expectations
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Supporting learners to ensure they are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.
