Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking an SC cleared Senior Service Designer for Corsham/Bristol/London with hybrid work. You will lead service design across complex defence programmes, shaping end-to-end services and tangible improvements for government platforms.

Join multidisciplinary teams to deliver discovery through live operations, champion user-centred design, facilitate workshops, and influence senior stakeholders while advancing your career in a dynamic defence-focused consultancy.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Strong service design experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to design and improve complex end-to-end services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Strong workshop planning and delivery experience.
• Experience working alongside User Researchers, Interaction Designers and Content Designers.
• Ability to translate user needs into service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Leading Service Design activities across complex programmes.
• Mapping end-to-end services and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Producing Service Blueprints, Service Maps and Customer Journeys.
• Facilitating workshops with users, clients and stakeholders.
• Working collaboratively within Agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Helping organisations understand and solve complex service challenges.
• Advocating best practice Service Design approaches.
• Influencing programme and senior stakeholders.
