Job summary

Click is recruiting for a SC Cleared 2nd Line Engineer to be based in Blackburn, Lancashire on a contract basis. You will handle incident tasks, resolve 2nd line issues to SLA, and coordinate with Level 3 teams to address major problems.

The role requires strong Windows OS experience, ITSM with ServiceNow, and a full UK driving license with willingness to travel to Hub/Spoke locations. SC Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2nd line IT support and incident resolution.
• Strong Windows 10/11 build, config and registry knowledge.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and IT security.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• SC Clearance held is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake incident and request tasks.
• 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA.
• Maintain a 2% incident per month target.
• Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframes.
• Undertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project Managers.
• Undertake Non Standard Requests tasks to agreed timescales.
• Proactively communicate and coordinate with Level 3 teams to highlight major level issues.
• Find resolution of technical issues for laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.
• Install & configure software and hardware.
• Travel to Hub/Spoke locations as required.
• SC Clearance held as part of role.
