Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd in Liskeard currently has a vacancy for a Saturday Sales Assistant. You will help customers in the Yard, load and unload lorries, and serve at the Trade Counter. You will work in a busy team and, with a positive attitude, build strong customer relationships.

Experience in a similar environment helps; forklift licence would be great but training is provided. Saturday is the main day (8am to midday) with potential for additional hours and a competitive salary plus

Job description

Our branch in Liskeardnow has a vacancy for a Saturday Sales Assistant. We know that no two days are the same, that you will always be busy and at times, it can be challenging. We can also guarantee that you will be working in a great team with great people and, if you are prepared to work hard, then you will love working with us. Our customers expect great service and our priority is to ensure this happens.

Your strong customer service and communication skills will help you as you deal with customers, helping them in our Yard, loading and unloading lorries as well as serving on our Trade Counter. We are looking for people who have the drive and desire to learn additional skills and eventually become multi-skilled within all roles at the branch. This knowledge and experience can open up further opportunities in our business and we want to support that.

Experience of working in a similar environment, along with a valid forklift licence would be great but it’s not essential as full training is provided. We are more interested in your ability to build effective relationships and demonstrate a great attitude towards customer service.

Whilst Saturday will be your main working day (8am to midday), we would welcome applicants that are open to working additional, flexible hours in order to cover any absence where required.
