Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking a Team Leader to guide a multi-disciplinary engineering team in a high-precision manufacturing environment in Portsmouth. You will support 10–15 Electrical Engineers, RF Test Systems Engineers and Test Operations Support Engineers delivering satellite payload tests for civil and defense customers.

Applicants should bring strong leadership, a passion for developing others, and the ability to work closely with a Technical Lead to close gaps and optimise

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate staff.
• Strong understanding of quality, time and cost constraints.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day: manage, allocate and deploy payload test assets including maintenance, calibration and long term planning.
• Input into production facilities upgrades and champion team needs.
• Ensure safety requirements and product integrity are maintained.
• Provide a stable environment so the team can deliver commitments on time.
