AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth/Stevenage is seeking a Team Leader / Senior Systems Engineer to steer two engineering teams in SDR and Maritime Terminal projects. You will champion development, coordinate roadmaps, and ensure delivery against schedules and budgets in a dynamic R&D environment.

We value strong leadership, expertise in SATCOM or ground segment design, and experience with V-Model and Agile programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in engineering teams.
• Experience with V-Model and Agile project management.
• Domain knowledge in SATCOM / Ground segment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop 2 engineering teams (SDR and Maritime Terminal).
• Drive development, refinement, and sustainment of SDR/Maritime Terminal products.
• Coordinate HR processes, recruitment planning, and cost control.
