Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is seeking a Clinical SARC Manager for the Suffolk service, overseeing clinical, forensic delivery and governance. The role requires leadership across operations and a trauma-informed culture, with a 40-hour week and occasional out-of-hours coverage.

The position includes progression and uplift on probation, with responsibilities spanning staff management,.service improvement and multi-agency collaboration within SARCs and NHS partners.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with at least three years post-qualification.
• Leadership or management experience within a clinical setting.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work outside core hours to support the 24-hour rota.
• Female applicants only, as permitted under the Sex Discrimination Act.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the Horizon SARC to ensure safe, effective and well-led service.
• Act as the CQC Registered Manager once qualified.
• Provide trauma-informed leadership supporting staff and clients.
• Lead clinical and forensic delivery including oversight of examinations when trained.
