Elsevier is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer-III to drive software strategy for Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AI-powered solutions. You will design Apex, LWC, and integration logic, write comprehensive tests, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable Salesforce developments.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, code reviews, and alignment with governance. Expect a blend of Agile/Waterfall environments and opportunities to work with AI features within Salesforce.

Competenze

• Proficiency with Apex, SOQL/SOSL and other data manipulation languages within the Salesforce platform.
• Understanding of Salesforce data modeling principles, including object relationships, sharing rules and LDV considerations.
• Ability to work with complex, multi-org data models and integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events).
• Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Apex, JavaScript, LWC, Aura, HTML, XML, SQL, and SOQL.
• Hands-on experience configuring and extending Service Cloud (Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, CTI integrations).
• Hands-on experience building Experience Cloud sites (LWR/Aura templates, community components, guest user security, self-service portals).
• Knowledge of AI features within Salesforce and governance for releases.

• Interface with business analysts, product owners to finalize requirements for Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Write and review detailed specifications for components like Apex classes, LWC, Flows, and integrations.
• Collaborate with team to translate product requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Service Cloud capabilities supporting large-scale operations.
• Design, build, and maintain Experience Cloud portals and self-service experiences.
• Evaluate and prototype AI-powered enhancements to improve deflection and productivity.
• Maintain development processes, coding practices, and code reviews per governance standards.
• Resolve technical issues including Level 2/3 escalations; participate in on-call rotations.
