Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to identify AI-innovation opportunities across Salesforce platforms, Data Cloud, and MCP-based integrations. You will translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for AI agent workflows.

You will collaborate with business units and AI/ML engineers to define feasible use cases, manage expectations, and drive adoption while maintaining governance and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience modelling processes with BPMN and translating needs into user stories.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience including Sales/Service Cloud and AI tooling.
• Strong ability to plan workshops and align stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI-innovation opportunities across Salesforce and MCP-based integrations.
• Document current and future-state processes with agentic AI workflows and guardrails.
• Gather requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories for AI-enabled solutions.
• Assess data readiness and partner with data engineering for Data Cloud projects.
• Facilitate workshops and communicate trade-offs of AI-driven solutions.
