Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Sales Support Associate for an office-based role in Newcastle Under Lyme. You will design and document efficient sales processes, manage customer queries, handle complaints, prepare quotations, and support the regional sales teams across Europe and the Middle East/Africa.

You will use ERP systems and digital tools to ensure timely responses and high-quality customer experiences, while coordinating with internal teams to align with policy and pricing.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze workflows and implement measurable improvements.
• Working knowledge of end-to-end order processing and ERP systems.
• Experience with business processes in industrial B2B environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini) for process development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo to achieve better outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create processes to manage inbound customer queries and support order entry.
• Own customer complaints from start to finish with stakeholders involved.
• Provide timely, accurate responses with product information and updates.
• Assist order entry by obtaining missing information and loading orders into the ERP (Sage).
• Update ERP with pricing, customer data, and order details per policy.
• Prepare quotations to support Regional Sales Teams in multiple regions.
• Proactively inform customers about order status updates.
