Our client, a dynamic organisation in the sales sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Support and Warranty Specialist to join their enthusiastic team in Halstead. Key Responsibilities:
- As a Sales Support and Warranty Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end management of lift equipment orders and warranty claims.
- Accurately process lifting equipment orders in the ERP/SAP system.
- Track orders through to fulfilment, ensuring timely despatch and installation.
- Address distributor inquiries regarding stock availability, lead times, and order changes.
- Resolve order-related issues and communicate updates proactively.
- Collaborate with hauliers, warehouse, and distributors to meet despatch and installation deadlines.
- Support forecasting and planning activities to optimise inventory levels.
- Manage the warranty process from claim intake to resolution and parts despatch.
- Process warranty claims efficiently with accurate documentation.
- Verify compatibility of spare parts with specific lifting equipment under warranty.
- Maintain open communication with customers and distributors on claim status.
- Follow up with distributors for purchase orders related to approved warranty work.
- Review and approve warranty invoices, addressing discrepancies as necessary.

- Contribute to quality improvement reports by compiling data and feedback.
- Support initiatives to enhance sales order handling and warranty workflows.
- Maintain communication with Credit Control regarding billing issues.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and correspondence.
- Participate in yearly stock takes at the warehouse.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows across teams.
- Flexibly respond to ad hoc requests and assist management as needed.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience in order management and warranty administration.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
