We’re on the lookout for a reliable Sales & Service Coordinator to join our Blenheim team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Here at Humes, we recognise the important role our Sales & Service Coordinators play in keeping the business running.

About the Role

Your duties will include unloading and loading products in accordance with safe operating procedures, processing customer orders, and conducting sales while maintaining a professional image at all times. Providing assistance across the yard and in-store when needed, so you must be fit and comfortable lifting weights up to 25kgs as well as confident interacting and providing great service to our customers. You may be required to carry out general administrative and stock room duties within the branch.

Standard hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. Some flexibility in start/finish times may be considered.

• Full Driver’s Licence required.
• F endorsement & Forklift licence advantageous (training can be supported).

While a background in either yard work or sales will be advantageous, it is also important that you can demonstrate:

• Self-motivation and reliability.
• A focus on strong customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to undertake some repetitive heavy lifting– up to 25kgs.
• A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
