Job summary

Future PLC invites applications for a Retention Assistant in Cardiff. You will help retain magazine subscription customers, handle cancellations, achieve KPIs, and support data updates across systems.

Working three days in the Cardiff office and two from home, with uncapped leave, profit share when targets are met, referral rewards, wellbeing support, and an employee share plan.

Future PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Retention assistant to join our team, located in Cardiff. If you pride yourself on your ability to help customers, overcome objections, and find solutions, then this will be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing

As a Retention assistant, you'll be responsible for retaining our magazine subscription customers throughout the year, ensuring our customers are happy to continue their subscription with us.

Reporting to the Head of Services, you'll be;

• Point of contact for individual customers looking to cancel their subscription
• Achieving KPI's and monthly targets
• Objection handle, problem solve, and retain customers
• Use all relevant and related systems to accurately capture customer data including updating notes and outcomes

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• Customer-focused with questioning and listening skills
• Sales experience advantageous.
• Excellent retention or selling and negotiating skills.
• Prioritise and manage your own workload and time.
• Work collaboratively within the team and other departments.
• Customer service experience
