Job summary

Future PLC in Cardiff is seeking a Retention Assistant to help keep magazine subscribers loyal by addressing objections and solving issues. You will work with the Head of Services to retain customers throughout the year.

As a customer-focused role, you will handle cancellations, hit KPI targets, and use systems to capture data accurately. The role is hybrid: three days in the Cardiff office and two from home.

Job description

Future PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Retention assistant to join our team, located in Cardiff. If you pride yourself on your ability to help customers, overcome objections, and find solutions, then this will be the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Retention assistant , you'll be responsible for retaining our magazine subscription customers throughout the year, ensuring our customers are happy to continue their subscription with us.

Reporting to the Head of Services, you'll be:

• Point of contact for individual customers looking to cancel their subscription
• Achieving KPI's and monthly targets
• Objection handle, problem solve, and retain customers
• Use all relevant and related systems to accurately capture customer data including updating notes and outcomes

Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve

• Customer-focused with questioning and listening skills
• Sales experience advantageous
• Excellent retention or selling and negotiating skills
