Job summary

Fedcap UK is seeking an Employer Solutions Consultant to connect local employers with suitable candidates and support individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds into sustainable employment.

You will work with employers to tailor recruitment services, prepare candidates for interviews, and grow a portfolio of live vacancies while meeting performance targets in a community-focused role.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, account management, recruitment, or sales, with a track record of working to targets.
• Experience in a customer-focused service delivery environment.
• Proven ability to build rapport, motivate, understand and empower individuals.
• Ability to work proactively, think creatively, and adapt approaches based on employer needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Fedcap and the Restart Scheme, championing sustainable employment for local businesses and jobseekers.
• Provide employers with high-quality, tailored recruitment support and candidate preparation.
• Build strong relationships with local employers and initiatives to develop a portfolio of live vacancies.
• Support customers to develop confidence, skills and readiness for work, including interview preparation.
• Proactively market candidates to employers and identify new work opportunities.
• Deliver against targets with excellent service and quality.
• Coach and mentor groups of candidates for effective job searches.

• Location: On-site in Reading (RG1 7QE) with some community outreach.
• Salary: Starting salary £30,000 to £32,000

What You'll Be Doing
