Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Sales & Quality Assistant in Poole. The role links drawing interpretation, quotations, and quality files, with accuracy as a core requirement. Qualifications

• Background in engineering or manufacturing.
• Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, quality documentation or quotations is an advantage, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and populate customer quotations using drawings, specifications and internal pricing.
• Liaise with sub-contract suppliers to gather information needed for quotes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and basic manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and quality documentation.
• Record dimensional and inspection results accurately against drawings and customer requirements; keep documentation complete and filed.

Sales & Quality Assistant - Poole - £30,000

You’ll be the link between the drawing, the quote and the quality file, no two days quite the same.

This is a role where your accuracy is genuinely relied on, not just appreciated.

As a Sales & Quality Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• A background in engineering or manufacturing, or a strong interest in the sector
• Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings
• Experience with welding, fabrication, quality documentation or quotations is an advantage, though full training is provided
• Strong numeracy and a genuine eye for detail
• Confidence using Excel to record and maintain accurate data
