Job summary

Aviva plc in Northamptonshire is seeking a Sales and Purchase Ledger Assistant for a fixed-term 6-month contract to join our Milton Keynes based finance team. You will process sales and supplier invoices and handle related queries.

The role offers exposure to our in-house systems, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to extend or convert to a permanent role for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Well organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ledger work and data entry.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Process sales invoices using the finance system and invoicing portal.
• Process supplier invoices from automotive bodyshops nationwide.
• Organise weekly payment runs to ensure garages are paid on time.
• Handle queries from garages and internal stakeholders.
• Support invoicing system operations and aim for accurate data.
