RETAIND Ltd is seeking a Sales Order Processor / Commercial Assistant in Corby for a permanent, full-time role. You will manage customer orders, coordinate with internal teams and learn about pricing, estimating and manufacturing capabilities to support growth.
You will develop knowledge in quotations, technical enquiries and marketing, with progression towards more senior commercial responsibilities as you gain experience and confidence.
Location: Corby - Office Based
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are recruiting for a Sales Order Processor / Commercial Assistant to join an established manufacturing services business in Corby. This opportunity would suit someone with a solid grounding in sales order processing and customer communication who is keen to develop their technical knowledge, take on greater responsibility and build a long-term commercial career.
Working alongside the Commercial Manager, you will help manage the customer journey from initial enquiry and quotation through to order fulfilment. You will use your existing experience to coordinate customer orders while learning more about pricing, estimating, technical specifications and the company's manufacturing capabilities.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, there will be scope to take greater ownership of enquiries, quotations and customer relationships, with the potential to progress towards a more senior commercial position over time.
Marketing experience is useful but is not essential. The main requirement is a willingness to learn and contribute, with order management and commercial support forming the core of the position.
You will already have practical experience of sales order processing within manufacturing, engineering or a related production environment, including checking customer requirements, coordinating with internal teams and providing order updates.

Previous exposure to quotations, technical enquiries or business social media would be advantageous, although support and training will be provided as your responsibilities develop.
