Growth Technology, based near Taunton, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the sales office, lead a small team, and improve administrative processes. The role involves coordinating across Sales, Production, Warehousing and Finance, managing the order-to-invoice cycle, and implementing changes to procedures and software updates.

The ideal candidate will have proven office management experience, team leadership, HR awareness, and strong IT skills with Sage and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Experience in office management or administrative roles within a sales environment.
• Supervising or team management experience is essential.
• Familiarity with human resources practices including recruitment and staff development.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 or 200 accounting software is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
• Strong organisational skills capable of prioritising multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the sales office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
• Coordinate with other departments across the business to ensure customers needs are met in full and on time.
• Have ultimate responsibility for the order to invoice cycle, with a view of continuous improvement.
• Ensure high standards of phone etiquette when communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Organise training sessions for staff on new procedures or software updates.
