About the Role

We're looking for a confident, talented leader to join our team reporting to the Professional Hygiene Commercial Director.

Our Professional Hygiene business unit is on an exciting, transformational journey towards shaping the future of the category. Our aim is to better serve customers’ needs by leveraging the power of digital, technology, analytics, and a differentiated omnichannel approach. This requires new thinking, capabilities, and approaches to successfully bridge current activities with emerging ones needed to win tomorrow.

This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK.

What You Will Do

As an Omni Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the Ecommerce and Omni Channel strategy within Professional Hygiene, successfully driving market growth. You will devise and implement the strategy and lead the team to deliver on it. You will also play a vital role in upskilling the current workforce during our digital transformation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, direct, and develop the sales team in structure, people, and performance to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness, including providing personal feedback and development.
  • Drive the Omni Channel approach within the UK&I organization and transfer knowledge and skills to peers and team.
  • Translate local business plans into strong joint Omni Channel plans with the team.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem or opportunity areas and adapt procedures accordingly.
  • Drive contract negotiations with existing and new strategic customers from an Omni channel perspective.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the area of responsibility.
  • Be responsible for customer profitability.
  • Generate market development insights, customer needs, and competitor activities, and share this knowledge with internal stakeholders.

You will be a confident, talented, and experienced Sales Manager with extensive FMCG experience and proven experience in digital transformation initiatives within Ecommerce and Omni Channel.
