Sales Manager - Asset Management (Hybrid)

In support of a Manchester-based, yet globally positioned and dynamic Asset Performance Management consultancy firm that specialises in providing software tools and tailored consulting service solutions to businesses looking to optimise their operations and improve their bottom line, we are seeking a NEW Sales Manager to grow further sales across the UK.

Established in the UK in 2014, they have expanded their operations successfully in China and are now growing their UK and European base. Their training courses and services are well known and approved by the Institution of Chemical Engineers. Recognising that every business is unique, with its own set of challenges and opportunities, the role of Sales Manager is to develop relationships and, through a consultative sales approach, take a personalised approach to clients, working closely with them to understand their needs, goals, and priorities.

Working from home, but based out of their office in Manchester, you will be responsible for sales, which will be largely in the UK but can also be overseas. You will engage with customers to determine their needs, identify solutions, and present them with product and service offerings.

You will work closely with their marketing team, technical staff, and management to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Engage with potential customers to identify their needs and provide solutions
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key decision-makers
  3. Work closely with the marketing team to identify new sales opportunities
  4. Achieve the company's sales revenue targets
  5. Make presentations to potential clients, involving the technical team as needed
  6. Collaborate with technical staff to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  7. Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and its products
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Basic understanding of software and service capabilities within asset management
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a pre-sales or sales role
  3. Knowledge of operations and maintenance practices, preferably in the process industries
  4. Established contacts within the reliability and maintenance field
  5. Strong technical skills and familiarity with software products such as CMMS and RCM tools
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  7. Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific subject is an asset
  8. Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
  9. Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
