POS Printer Sales Manager (Home based)

Salary

Job profile

A Japanese global manufacturing company is looking for a Sales Manager to expand their business in Germany.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in distributors, system integrators, ISVs, resellers, and end users.
  2. Engage in value-added solution selling as a trusted advisor.
  3. Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs to ensure ongoing success.
  4. Increase new sales by influencing the entire sales channel, including direct approaches to distributors, system integrators, ISVs, resellers, and end users, through targeted visits to large potential customers.
  5. Build a strong partner pipeline through account and field mapping of partners.
  6. Set business plans with each distributor, system integrator, dealer, and ISV, working closely to ensure achievement of these plans.
  7. Monitor partner performance.
  8. Identify new areas for growth and implement plans to realize this growth.
  9. Document all contact with partners and customers in the company's CRM system (currently Salesforce).
  10. Analyze regional success and identify processes to increase future sales.
  11. Collaborate with marketing to maximize the effective use of the co-operative budget in developing sales with each distributor and reseller.
  12. Attend trade shows where distributors or the company’s exhibits are present.
  13. Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  14. Provide monthly feedback and updates via presentations at sales meetings, either face-to-face or via video conferencing.
  15. Maintain sales funnel, forecast, and opportunity pipeline.
  16. Achieve assigned sales quotas for the territory.

Essentials

  • Strong influencer and persuasive skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Prior experience in a similar role with a focus on indirect sales and channel development within a distribution model.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and business counterparts.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Fluent in German and English.
