Vorn Group Ltd UK-wide, based from Lydbrook, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Field Sales & Demonstration Specialist for agricultural machinery. You will find farmers, run live demos of Hedgeweaver and Waterweaver, and work from a company vehicle across the UK.

This hands-on role requires outdoors work in all weathers, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to film and share short video content to boost sales.

Qualifications

• Essential: full UK driving licence; CPCS/NPORS tickets are a strong plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and travel UK-wide.
• Comfortable talking to farmers with a non-sell, listening approach.
• Self-driven, highly organized, able to plan weekly territory.
• Willingness to film short demo content for social media.

Responsibilities

• Identify farmers, estates and contractors across the UK and secure visits.

Field Sales & Demonstration Specialist Agricultural Machinery

Vorn Group Ltd (trading as Vornagri) designs and builds specialist machinery for regenerative farming. We need someone to take it to market: find the customers, put the kit in front of them, run it, and close the deal.

We especially welcome applications from people leaving or who have left the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or RAF. If you're used to working on your own initiative, outdoors in any weather, operating plant, and getting results without being micromanaged, you already have most of what this role needs.

The machinery

• Hedgeweaver: a patent-pending mechanised hedge-laying implement that fits a telehandler or excavator. It lays up to 1 metre of hedge every 2 minutes, which is hundreds of metres a day, and produces thicker, more wildlife-rich hedges than laying by hand. It sits squarely within Countryside Stewardship and ELMS hedgerow funding, so many farmers are already being paid to do the work it does.
• Waterweaver: a portable water system that delivers up to 500m of pressurised water from a mains or water source. It makes mob grazing practical across large areas.

  The role

  This is not a tractor showroom. Nobody will walk through the door. You will:

• Hunt for customers. Identify farmers, estates and agricultural contractors across the UK, then call them, visit them and get on their land.
• Demonstrate the kit yourself. Operate the Hedgeweaver on a digger or telehandler in front of customers, in all weathers. Hedge-laying season runs through the winter, so a lot of your best work will be in cold, wet, muddy fields.
• Own the trade show calendar. Pick the agricultural shows and machinery events worth attending, then organise the stand, the logistics and the live demos.
• Build our social media presence. Film and photograph demos and customer jobs, then edit, upload and promote them on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Good footage of the machine working sells it.
• Close and follow through. Turn interest into orders and look after customers afterwards.

  You'll travel across the UK, often with overnight stays, in a company vehicle.

• What we're looking for
• Essential:
• Confidence operating a 360 excavator and/or telehandler, or the willingness to get trained up quickly (CPCS/NPORS tickets are a strong plus)
• A full UK driving licence. Towing experience is useful.
• Comfortable talking to farmers straight, as an equal: no jargon, no hard sell, plenty of listening
• Self-driven, organised, and able to plan your own week and territory
• At ease with a phone camera and social media, and able to produce short, punchy video content
• Motivated by commission. Your basic covers the essentials, and what you earn on top depends on what you sell.

  A bonus, not a requirement:

• A farming background: you grew up on a farm, worked on one, or have family in agriculture
• Knowledge of hedge laying, livestock or regenerative farming

  You don't need sales experience. We'll teach you the product and the market. We can't teach drive, resilience, or being happy in a field in January.

• Uncapped commission on every sale, with OTE of £45,000. Top performers can earn beyond that.
