Key Responsibilities
- As an Agricultural Sales Manager, you’ll work in a field-based role, managing sales across a designated area and supporting customers with their agricultural machinery requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Visit customers across your designated sales area.
- Sell new and used agricultural machinery and associated equipment.
- Identify and maximise new sales opportunities.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry developments.
- Attend customer-focused events and represent the business professionally.
- Demonstrate machinery and equipment to customers where required.
- Ensure machinery is delivered in line with company and brand standards.
- Work towards and exceed sales performance targets.
- Provide excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone.
What we’re looking for
- We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the agricultural industry who is confident dealing with customers and developing sales opportunities.
- Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Previous sales, service or parts experience within the agricultural sector.
- A target-driven and self-motivated approach.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- The confidence to identify opportunities, upsell and close deals.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own area effectively.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
