Job Description:

Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager – Engineered Components to OEMs in aerospace, defence, power generation, renewable, and oil & gas markets. Reporting to the Managing Director, this senior role is part of a strategic growth plan targeting key accounts with realistic and achievable targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business and promote engineering capabilities to OEM and first-tier markets across the UK.
  • Sell premium, bespoke, value-added solutions rather than commodity components.
  • Engage with multiple decision-makers, often with long lead times, and present at a high level to engineering and procurement decision-makers, ideally at the design-in stage.
  • Follow up to secure and develop business, leveraging significant growth potential already identified.
Person Specification:
  • Proven track record selling components to OEMs, preferably with relevant market or product experience in engineered solutions.
  • Ability to generate new business, demonstrate strategic and business acumen, and possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Drive and tenacity to engage decision-makers, follow up, and develop relationships.
  • Solid mechanical and/or production engineering background and qualifications.
