ABP Food Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a detail‑driven Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger assistant in Glasgow. You will process invoices, match orders, and support month‑end activities to maintain strong financial controls and timely processing.

The role involves resolving discrepancies and answering customer queries with accuracy. The position offers exposure to diverse invoicing tasks, cross‑department collaboration, and opportunities to develop in finance.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or sales ledger (preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Process customer invoices manually as and when required.
• Accurately match customer order lines between manufacturing and finance systems and close orders for invoicing.
• Resolve order discrepancies with internal departments.
• Respond to customer queries professionally and promptly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• General admin including scanning and filing where relevant.
• Other ad hoc duties.
