Job summary

Big Sky Additions Limited is seeking a Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable Assistant to own day-to-day ledger activity, raise invoices, allocate payments and monitor balances. Working with the Financial Controller, you will help keep customer accounts accurate and payments timely across specialist markets.

You'll be organized, precise and able to communicate with colleagues and customers. SAP experience would be useful but not essential, and you'll contribute to improvements in finance processes.

Qualifications

• You'll have previous experience in a Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role and be confident managing customer accounts and resolving payment queries.

Responsibilities

• Raising sales invoices and credit notes, and maintaining the daily sales register
• Allocating customer payments and reconciling the sales ledger to the general ledger
• Monitoring outstanding balances and following up overdue payments
• Dealing with customer account queries and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing aged debt reports and reviewing overdue accounts
• Leading weekly accounts receivable meetings to review outstanding balances
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting improvements to finance processes
