Jo Holdsworth Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well-established Leeds manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Ledger / Credit Control Assistant. You will join a busy finance team, ensuring accurate ledgers, timely payments and smooth cash flow in a supportive environment.

The role covers invoices, cash allocation, reconciliations and credit control activities, with opportunities for development within a growing Yorkshire company. Lively, hands-on setting with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy sales ledger/credit control role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Experience handling customer queries and resolving discrepancies.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, including consolidated billing.
• Process and allocate incoming customer payments across multiple methods.
• Investigate outstanding/unallocated payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete account reconciliations and assist with monthly close.
• Process credit notes, discounts and account adjustments.
• Conduct credit checks and assist with opening new customer accounts.
• Support credit control across smaller customer accounts.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve account issues.
• Contribute to team targets and ensure deadlines are met.
