Our SIMULIA Sales Team is looking for a Sales Expert. The location for this role is flexible.

The SIMULIA Sales Expert will identify and close new business opportunities to increase the SIMULIA footprint. This role will sell value and strategic vision through direct and indirect channels to secure customer commitment on a long-term business transformation.

  • Communicate SIMULIA value directly and through partners by taking a bottom-up and/or top-down approach
  • Generate growth in sales priority areas defined by sales initiatives as determined by SIMULIA Brand / Industries
  • Extend sales reach to SIMULIA industry domains and segments other than those in primary scope by involving company ecosystem as appropriate
  • Create and develop high value and trusted relationships with Customer’s Champions and facilitate access to Customer’s Executives
  • Transform Marketing and Sales leads into opportunities
  • Create and manage the appropriate pipeline to reach business objectives
  • Perform end-to-end sales engagements compliant with the 3DS processes to achieve revenue plan
  • Manage the negotiation with the customer while complying with all 3DS engagement processes, government and local regulations, company policies and ethical standards for doing business
  • Provide an accurate forecast for rolling quarters and fiscal year
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
  • 7+ years’ experience in software sales including forecasting and implementing strategies, experience selling simulation software highly preferred
  • Experience managing large enterprise accounts and sales
  • Experience in one of the following industries: Aerospace & Defense, Government Services, High Tech, and/or Industrial Equipment
  • Experience closing business in white space
  • Effective Relationship BuildingSkills
  • Effective Presentation Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to Travel up to 30%

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between 200,000 and 280,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
