Job summary

Portakabin Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales and order-winning activities by promoting Portakabin products and services. You will execute commercial admin activities, support business development, and collaborate across teams to hit order targets at agreed margins.

The role involves onboarding new team members, managing customer enquiries, and ensuring accurate stock and payment processes.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience working in a target-driven environment.
• Experience with business development activities (inbound/outbound calling).
• Minimum GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English.
• Competent in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate across teams to provide development, commercial and admin support to hit order targets.
• Support onboarding and training for new team members.
• Identify and resolve issues and escalate for process improvements.
• Maintain outstanding customer service and ensure continuity of future orders.
• Coordinate with teams to confirm stock, refurbishment and fit-out details.
• Assist with collecting outstanding payments and follow up on arrears.
• Maintain up-to-date customer data and accurate stock records.
• Prepare and chase quotations and ensure timely responses to customers.
