Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Grays is seeking a Car Sales Executive to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving individual and dealership sales targets. You will welcome customers, understand their vehicle requirements and present options with test drives.

The role offers a £22,500 base salary with an OTE of £50,000, a company car, and no Sunday working, with Monday–Friday 8:30am–6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle requirements.
• Building strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
• Presenting vehicles and arranging test drives.
• Demonstrating vehicle features and benefits.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
• Managing enquiries from showroom, telephone and online customers.
• Working towards monthly sales and profitability targets.
• Completing sales administration accurately.
• Following up prospective customers and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard.
• Delivering a professional customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

About You

We're looking for a confident, motivated and target-driven Car Sales Executive / Vehicle Sales Executive with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales or a target-driven sales environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident and professional approach
• Good commercial awareness
• A proven ability to work towards and achieve targets
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude
