Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (3:00pm finish on Fridays)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Sales Estimator to join our growing client. You’ll play a key role in costing enquiries and projects, ensuring the best possible pricing and quality for our clients. If you have a background in a construction-related industry and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Sales Estimator Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the design and sales teams to fully understand client needs and prepare detailed quotations from concept to completion.
2. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and installation teams to negotiate competitive pricing while ensuring high product quality.
3. Research and recommend best-in-class solutions and products for all projects.
4. Manage sales team expectations on quotation turnaround times to ensure clear communication with clients.
5. Monitor project costs, avoiding pricing issues that may impact revenue and margin throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Assist in maintaining and developing strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of service at all stages of the project.
7. Work closely with other departments to ensure that the client’s requirements are met in full.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:
• Strong experience in estimating projects from concept to completion, with the ability to read and understand drawings and bills of quantities.
• High proficiency in mathematics, used daily to create precise quotations.
• Proven experience in a construction-related industry, particularly in estimating and quoting projects.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to respond promptly to internal and client requests.

Desirable:
• Experience with Business Central or other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of mezzanine floors, building regulations, and multidisciplinary construction projects.
