Job description

Land Surveyor

Type: Permanent

Location: West London

Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Land Surveyors to join a well-established company based in West Midlands, a leader in mobile mapping and geomatic surveying. The company specializes in large-scale projects utilizing the latest digital technology. Committed to delivering professional and personalized service, the company is regulated by RICS and upholds high ethical standards.

Due to increased workload, they are hiring Land Surveyors at various experience levels. The role involves supporting Senior Surveyors and Project Managers in conducting surveys across different environments. Tasks include topographic, utility, mobile mapping, laser scanning, and data processing. The sectors served include rail, guided transport, highways, bridges, aviation, estates, property, energy, utilities, environmental, and marine.

Responsibilities & Duties
  1. Conduct topographic, utility, and mobile mapping surveys.
  2. Perform total station and GPS/GNSS observations.
  3. Manage survey teams onsite.
  4. Mentor and train less experienced team members.
  5. Contribute to the development of the survey department.
  6. Follow company manuals and processes.
  7. Ensure QA/QC compliance.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. PTS and CSCS accreditations.
  2. Experience in topographical surveys.
  3. Proficiency with Robotic Total Stations & GNSS.
  4. Experience using AutoCAD software.
  5. Full UK driving license.
  6. Right to work in the UK.
