Job summary

Streamline Search is recruiting a Sales Estimator for a family-owned UK business specialising in window and door hardware. You will produce accurate quotations, process orders and support the sales team, with a focus on timely responses to enquiries.

The role is office-based, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, offering a pension, health scheme, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Salary listed as £25,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or estimating role.
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills.
• Good organisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to customer service and sales opportunities.
• Experience within construction, trade, hardware or building products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Preparing accurate quotations and processing orders.
• Following up quotes to secure potential sales.
• Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products.
• Updating customer records and maintaining accurate quotation information.
• Sending product samples and information to customers.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a accurate, commercially minded individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and timely quotations.
