Job summary

Hager Group is seeking a Sales Engineer - Project (M/F/D) for a permanent role in the South-East Region. You will report to the Sales Manager in the Sales department and drive project sales with EME contractors and installers.

In this role you will build strong relationships, promote electrical products, manage project opportunities from tender to completion, and provide expert advice to installers while collaborating with the wider team to win Hager projects.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to promote electrical products and solutions.
• Experience with project pipeline management from tender to design.
• Ability to forecast opportunities and provide feedback.
• Awareness of market trends and competitors.
• Collaborative team player with stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Key Account Installers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Introduce and present electrical products, highlighting features and long-term value.
• Identify, track and manage project opportunities from tender through completion using CRM.
• Provide high-quality advice to installers and support tender/design needs.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and stay competitive.
• Drive open spec and specification-led sales with the wider team.
