Job description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Engineer with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Executives, OEM technical communities, partners, and end-user customers with technical responses, presentations, and problem solving to win new business and cultivate existing relationships to achieve high renewal rates and customer and partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales executives with solution selling to partners and OEMs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the IE product and OEM offerings.
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles with partners and OEMs.
  • Successfully match customer pain points/requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the product range's value.
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses to partners and OEMs.
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the IE product teams for future product enhancements.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of career experience in solution selling and technical presales roles.
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives at partners and customers.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Solutions engineering & architecting experience in the Storage, Data Protection, or Security industry is a bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
