Role: Sales Engineer (Data Centres)

Location: South East, UK

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Carrier UK has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer based ideally in the South East. You will be part of our Applied/Equipment sales team, focusing on developing new business and increasing sales in the data centre market.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage key accounts within the Data Centre sector effectively.
  2. Identify and target new potential customers, including Installers, M&E contractors, and specification consultants.
  3. Expand business by quoting and selling products, from Hydronic to Airside solutions.
  4. Provide guidance on the correct application of products.
  5. Share industry knowledge and advise on legislation to ensure future compliance.
  6. Conduct joint sales calls with the sales team to develop target markets.
  7. Maintain regular contact with customers; travel may be required.
  8. Handle reporting and administrative tasks.
  9. Collaborate with the sales team to increase market share in the region.
Requirements:
  1. Technical knowledge of HVAC, especially hydronic chilled water and airside products.
  2. Strong sales experience in HVAC, dealing with contractors, M&E firms, and consultants.
  3. Knowledge of competitors.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. UK Driving Licence.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office.
