The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the UK & Ireland region. This role plays a critical part in driving MDR and DFIR business growth, increasing market share, and strengthening partnerships to support the company's cybersecurity services portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to scale and build the UK region into a sizable business while building a team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the regional sales plan to meet revenue, profitability, and growth targets
Contribute to the development of the company's commercial strategy and ensure its effective execution in the region
Identify, establish, and maintain strong partnerships that support business development and long-term growth
Support partners in identifying and securing new business opportunities, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Manage relationships with key clients, lead sales meetings, and oversee the sales process with support from the internal sales team
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to ensure alignment with targets and budget. Propose corrective actions when necessary
Lead, coach, and support the regional sales team to enhance performance and achieve objectives
Collaborate with the marketing team to identify relevant industry events, forums, and communication channels to promote services and generate leads from local marketing budget
Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and pricing strategies to help refine offerings and maximize sales effectiveness
Recommend improvements to the sales structure, processes, and tools to optimize efficiency and resource allocation
Qualifications
Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years of senior sales management experience within the ICT or cybersecurity industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams
Experience in international markets and complex sales environments at start-up and scale-up companies.
