Our client, a global leader in Fund Services, seeks a proven Sales Director with experience in selling fund administration or third-party manco services.

Must Have Experience

• Proven track record in Private Markets sales, specifically selling fund services products such as fund accounting, administration, depository services, and investor relations.
• Extensive experience as a hunter, reporting directly to the Head of EMEA Sales (Funds).

Purpose of the Job

The primary focus of this role is to generate new business and increase revenue for the Global Funds division worldwide.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Service Line leadership team and corporate directors, with a thorough understanding of the services offered by each jurisdiction, especially Global Funds.

Main Responsibilities

• Originate valuable new business opportunities aligned with business strategies.
• Meet and surpass personal new business targets, including initiating new business acquisition strategies.
• Develop a sales pipeline by identifying and securing new business in key funds distribution and servicing markets, for both domestic and onshore funds.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of current and potential clients to foster long-term relationships and profitable revenue growth.
• Lead negotiations and deal terms throughout the sales process.
• Manage commercial negotiations within set parameters.
• Position the business to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.

Minimum Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in selling fund administration or third-party manco services.
• Sales management experience within investment banks, trustees, asset management, or administration firms.
• Proven ability in selling fund services products like fund accounting, administration, depository services, and investor relations.
• Strong technical knowledge of fund services.
• Ability to lead complex RFPs and procurement processes.
• Self-motivated, dynamic, with excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with drive, initiative, and adaptability.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of effective communication at all levels.
