MPI has a requirement for a Sales Director to work on-site at East Midlands Airport.

Hours: 40 hours a week - (a degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)

Rate of pay: Dependent on experience, to be discussed on application

Summary of Position:

Reporting to the MD, the Sales Director is responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the UK and European markets, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Commercial department, while aligning with the Company’s strategic goals.
  2. Initiate an action plan to identify, target, and secure new business for the Company.
  3. Analyze statistics to determine business growth potential.
  4. Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with existing clients.
  5. Develop a strategic marketing plan for the Company.
  6. Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
  7. Stay updated with market trends and new developments, utilizing information for business improvement.
  8. Proactively develop and improve products and services.
  9. Promote the Client's narrow-body aircraft MRO at EMA.
Requirements
  • Management degree preferred
  • Proven sales history in Aviation
  • Good understanding of airline maintenance requirements to drive business growth
  • Good knowledge of costing processes
  • Knowledge of MRO structure and commercial contracts
  • Excellent and engaging communication skills
  • Ability to form effective relationships, manage, and drive business performance
