About the role

The Winnow Business Development team comprises nearly 20 sales professionals across Singapore, Dubai, London, and Chicago. The team focuses on driving revenue growth through new opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expanding Winnow’s global footprint to reduce food waste.

A new position for a Sales Development Representative has arisen to support our growth in the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead generation: researching potential leads in target industries and segments.
  • Outbound prospecting: cold calling, emailing, and outreach to decision-makers.
  • Lead qualification: assessing inbound leads against predefined criteria.
  • Lead nurturing: maintaining relationships and understanding prospects’ needs.
  • Scheduling sales meetings for product demos with qualified leads.
  • Utilizing Zendesk CRM to track activities and updates.

About you

Education and experience

  • Likely degree educated.
  • Previous experience as a Sales Development Rep, preferably in SaaS or purpose-driven environments.
  • Proven track record of exceeding lead targets.
  • Experience with prospecting techniques like cold calling and social outreach.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French and Spanish is required for regional engagement.
