Job summary

A financial services company in the UK is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and coach the field sales team. Ideal candidates will have proven sales leadership experience within the UK asset finance or leasing industry. You will be responsible for developing team members' skills, enhancing customer relationships, and improving the sales process. The role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 to £100,000 plus bonuses and benefits.

Base pay range

£80,000 to £100,000 per annum plus up to 50% bonus, car, good pension and private healthcare

The Roles

• Working closely with the field sales team to provide sales management and coaching to support their personal growth and improve their sales achievements.
• Devising and delivering individual sales coaching and training plans for underperforming team members to maximise the potential of future success.
• Conducting joint customer visits and providing structured feedback to reinforce best practices and identify areas of improvement and development.
• Supporting the sales team members in cultivating long term profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
• Working with other departments such as risk and operations to enhance the quality and efficiency of the sales process.
• Assisting, guiding and refining the new business development activities of the sales team.

The Candidate

• MUST have proven sales leadership / sales management experience, gained in the UK asset finance / leasing industry. Sales management experience in other areas of business finance might be considered.
• Must have strong presentation and negotiation skills and be able to inspire and lead a team of less experienced sales professionals.
• Must have experience in sales training and coaching.
