Job summary

Allen Motor Group is recruiting a Sales Controller to join our Ford Transit Centre in Basildon. You will guide customers through the purchasing process and ensure an excellent service is provided.

This is a full-time, five-day week (Mon–Fri) on a permanent basis with a basic salary of £32,000 and an OTE of £52,000, reporting to the Sales Manager. In addition to a competitive salary, the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for progression within a franchised dealership

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership transaction management experience.
• Aspire to move into management.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve targets in sold units, profitability and finance.
• Ensure compliance with AMG, the brand and legislation.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge.
• Carry out part-exchange appraisals.
• Provide an exceptional buying experience from the outset.

Job description

Allen Motor Group are looking to recruit a Sales Controller to join and work with our Ford Transit Centre in Basildon, to guide customers through the purchasing process, whilst ensuring an excellent service is provided. This is offered on a full time 5 day a week, Monday – Friday, permanent basis, with a basic salary of £32,000 and an OTE of £52,000 reporting to the Sales Manager.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for an individual with strong automotive business/transaction manager experience from a franchised dealership who is looking to progress your career towards the next stages of management. We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and experience:

• Strong experience in stacking and controlling deals
• A strong desire to be involved in the sales process from the start, ability to speak to customers and close deals.
• Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills
• Experience of delivering finance and insurance packages with a strong understanding of FCA compliance
• A drive to meet and exceed targets
• Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities and Duties
