Bridgewater Recruitment Group in Trowbridge is hiring a Sales & Business Trainee. The role is hands-on and offers a fast-paced start in a successful electrical distribution business, with exposure to customers and cross-functional teams as you learn product knowledge and the skills needed for progression into a sales and business development career.

In year one you’ll rotate across operations, warehouse, logistics, administration and marketing, build industry knowledge, and develop client-facing

This is a hands-on opportunity to join a hugely successful electrical distribution business where you'll gain experience across different areas of the company, work directly with customers and develop the commercial skills needed to progress your career.

You'll learn from experienced colleagues, take on increasing responsibility and, as you develop, move towards a customer-focused sales and business development role.

The Opportunity

Your first year will give you a broad understanding of how a successful B2B business operates.

You'll spend time getting to know different areas of the company, building your product and industry knowledge and developing your customer-facing skills.

As you progress, the focus will increasingly move towards sales, account management and business development.

As a Sales & Business Trainee, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Gain experience across operations, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration and marketing
• Develop detailed knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry and product range
• Work directly with trade customers, including electricians, contractors and tradespeople
• Build your confidence in sales, communication and relationship management
• Gain experience in internal sales and account management
• Learn how to identify opportunities, develop accounts and win new business
