Job summary

IKEA Southampton is seeking a Sales co-worker to help customers find inspiration and solutions for their homes, while keeping the store welcoming and well-stocked. You will play a key role in guiding purchases, creating room settings, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

You'll engage customers to understand their needs, learn about products, and maintain attractive displays. The role may involve heavy lifting and requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Maintain an inviting, well-presented area with clear pricing and signs.
• Support stock replenishment and maintain product availability.

As a Sales co-worker, you'll support customers by helping them find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is always ready to welcome visitors. Depending on the department, this could involve sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with purchases, replenishing stock, creating inspiring room settings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer. Whether you're helping a customer choose products for their kitchen and dining space, organise their home, or find the perfect decorative touches, you'll play an important role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.,

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
• You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.

• The Start Date of employment will be 4th October
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 12, 16 and 20 hour contracts including working evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends
