Warrenders Jewellers is seeking a Sales Assistant to work with the existing team, focusing on ecommerce, in-store sales, and customer service. Experience in ecommerce, a passion for jewellery, and a willingness to learn are preferred. Jewellery knowledge is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

About the Candidate

This role is ideal for someone eager to develop ecommerce skills and jewellery knowledge. The candidate should have a good understanding of ecommerce, strong IT skills (including photography and videography), and a proactive attitude to learning. Key qualities include:

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce

• Upload stock items to Warrenders website and Etsy, ensuring accuracy and informativeness
• Photograph/video stock for online listings and support sales, valuations, and marketing
• Add product details to stock records to enhance SEO and provide detailed information
• Audit online products regularly and upload new stock promptly
• Manage online sales, liaising with customers, verifying security checks, packaging, and dispatching
• Promote and develop the Warrenders website and Etsy to increase traffic and sales

Customer Service

• Attend to customer needs, aiming for satisfaction through sales, repairs, and valuations
• Create sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement
• Design attractive window and cabinet displays to entice customers
• Maintain stock presentation and cleanliness to boost sales

Contract: Part-time or Full-time (3-5 days, including Saturdays)

Salary: From £27,000 annually full-time; pro-rata for part-time (£16,200 for 3 days/week, £21,600 for 4 days/week). Dependent on experience and qualifications.
