Job summary

IKEA Warrington is seeking Sales Assistants to join our team and deliver an inspiring shopping experience. You will help customers with home solutions, keep showrooms well presented, and support planning appointments using our planning tools.

The role starts on 3 November 2026, with an hourly rate of £13.45 and 12–16 hours per week across up to four days and three of four weekends. Shifts run 8am–11pm; flexibility can be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational shopping experiences by approaching customers and advising on solutions.
• Maintain product presentation, stock levels and pricing for easy shopping.
• Plan 30–40 minute personalised planning appointments using IKEA planning tools.
• Assist with manual handling of heavy products safely.

• Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.


• 12 & 16 hours weekly, working up to 4 days and working 3 out of 4 weekends.


• Working hours are between 8am and 11pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.


• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.


• You support maximising sales by ensuring the areas are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.


• Planning – Supporting customers through 30–40 minute personalised planning appointments using IKEA digital planning tools to create functional, well‑designed home solutions.


• Manual handling heavy products safely, using ladders and pump trucks.
