Job summary

schuh in Crawley is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to join our store with flexible weekend and weekday availability.

You will deliver excellent customer service, provide product knowledge, and handle payments and orders while supporting stock management and merchandising. Training is provided, and you’ll work to meet KPIs. Benefits include employee discounts, holiday entitlement, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred but not required; full training will be provided.
• You will greet customers, provide product knowledge and work towards KPI targets.
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising duties are part of the role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our store in Crawley!

This is a part‑time position, and you must have good flexibility on weekends and weekdays.

Hourly rates will match or exceed the national minimum wage for your age.

About what you’ll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible, greeting and approaching customers and providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
