Job summary

IKEA Warrington invites Sales Assistants to welcome customers and help them plan solutions for their homes. You will keep the showroom inviting, price items clearly, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced team.

The role starts 23 September 2026, with competitive pay at £13.45 per hour. Part-time contracts offer 12 or 16 hours per week across 3 days plus evenings and some weekends, with flexibility discussed at interview.

• Assist with heavy product handling using ladders and pumps safely.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 23rd of September 2026.


• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.


• The available working hours are as follows;


• 12 Hours, working 3 days per week including evenings and working 3 in 4 weekends. We can also explore weekend only contracts.


• 16 Hours, working 4 days per week including evenings and working 3 in 4 weekends.


• Working hours are between 8am and 11pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.


• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.


• You support maximising sales by ensuring the areas are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.


• Planning - Supporting customers through 30-40 minute personalised planning appointments using IKEA digital planning tools to create functional, well-designed home solutions.


• Manual handling heavy products safely, using ladders and pump trucks.
